SERVICES

A Health Coach guides and supports their clients toward sustainable behavioral changes to increase and achieve better overall wellness. Everyone is unique and come to see a health coach for different reasons, therefore, the role of a health coach is to help clients identify the areas that they want to change and then support them on the journey to achieve those goals.

As your coach, Hilary has a wealth of nutritional information but also understands that diet, and your relationship to food, is often linked to emotions and lifestyle habits. The good news is that she has a lot of tools for simple, sustainable adaptations that you can easily incorporate into their lives and see results quickly. She also provides the support and accountability that form the framework for building new, positive habits that help you make the health breakthroughs that you seek.

6-Month Package: (45-minute sessions, two per month)

Six months is an ideal amount of time to work on sustainable, new habits with a client. Working one-on-one allows us to identify the areas the client wants to change or improve and to create a program specifically geared to achieve those goals. The work we do is collaborative and asks the client to look at diet and make small, incremental changes, often adding in foods or removing possible irritants in their diet to find the balance that allows the client to feel better. Tweaks in lifestyle, stress management, sleep issues and unhealthy relationships with food are also addressed. Set-backs are common and working over a six-month period allows the client to work through the these issues with support.

3-Month Package: (45-minute sessions, two per month)

Three months works well for clients who come with a clear idea of what they want to achieve and seek a shorter time period to make those changes. The process is much the same as the 6-month program and gives the client the information and support to incorporate healthy changes in diet and lifestyle to achieve the client’s individual goals.

Small Groups: 2-10 people (1 per week for 4-6 weeks)

Working with a group is really fun! A group may be a couple, a group of friends or a group of clients organized by Hilary—they all benefit by sharing the experience of learning and working towards goals together. We will discuss my main health priorities, with each session introducing a new topic (including sugar detox, nutrition basics, gut health and more), followed by plenty of time for questions and discussion. Form a group or contact Hilary about upcoming group classes.

One-Time Consultation (one 45-minute session)

Full of information and tips, a one-time consultation is an in-depth session that provides a framework for addressing health issues and concerns. A one-time session is perfect for a client that wants to understand what working with a health coach is about and wants a broad education of the current nutritional information and a lifestyle recommendation that support overall health and wellness. Questions are welcome and help guide the session to support the client’s health goals. One-time consultations are best for one individual but can also be adapted to a small group. (90-minute sessions also available).

One-Time Consultation with Busy Professionals (one 45-minute session)

Many busy professionals feel that they do not have the time or energy to devote to meal prep and planning. They may also travel for work and eat meals out or have to grab food on the fly more often. Trying to fit in time to exercise is hard enough but thinking ahead about food choices and healthy restaurant options falls by the wayside. Hilary can help you streamline the way you approach food and nutrition while giving you practical information and advice about how to navigate eating out (reviewing menus and knowing how to order) and planning ahead with food/snacks that are healthy and support good energy. Hilary’s goal is to give busy professionals simple and practical tools so that her clients feel in control and know how to make healthy choices. Feeling great is the result. (90-minute sessions also available).

Sessions can be by phone, text or Skype. Hilary makes herself available for quick consultations, questions that arise in the course of the day, as well as, in person consultations.

One-Time Consultation with Young People (one 45-minute session)

Hilary loves to work with young people (high school, college, post college) who are learning how to manage on their own especially around food and nutrition. Learning how to eat in a college setting or learning to shop and   cook for the first time can be overwhelming. Hilary encourages her clients to be aware of their health and wellness and teaches them the ways they can support their physical and mental health through healthy habits and choices. Irregular eating and sleep, stress and anxiety and poor food choices can impact over all wellbeing, as much for young people as the rest of us. Hilary’s goal is to educate and give simple, practical tools that young people can take with them as they become more independent. (90-minute sessions also available).

Sessions can be by phone, text or Skype. Hilary makes herself available to have remote consultations and welcomes questions that arise between sessions. In-person consultations are also available.

Kitchen Makeover: Pantry and Refrigerator (One 1-1.5 hour session)

Are you unsure what foods in your kitchen are not serving you, and may be keeping you from reaching your goal of losing weight and feeling better? Hilary will come to your home and take a look—without judgment—and will help you let go of the foods with hidden sugars, unhealthy and nutritionally empty snacks and staples you have in your refrigerator and/or pantry. Hilary will offer alternatives and suggest ways to replace and add in healthier options that will make you feel and look better. This is a great first step to changing your relationship with food and also a perfect add on to a class.
